The Beast from the East may well have caused chaos across the country, but international swimmers are a determined bunch, and it didn't stop them descending on the Royal Commonwealth Pool this weekend for the Edinburgh International Meet.
The event doubled as the British Senior Championships this year and the start lists read like a Who's Who of elite swimmers from across Europe, including the likes of Duncan Scott, Hannah Miley, Ross Murdoch and Adam Peaty.
Taking her place among them was our very own Eilidh Redpath who qualified for seven events. This was a fantastic achievement in itself and Eilidh gained valuable experience over the weekend of competing at an elite level.
