Congratulations to Aimee, Charlotte, Chloe & Caledonia who have all qualified to take part in this year’s District Regional Programme. The girls have already taken part in the first of two training days with others from around the District.
The training days combine technical sessions in the pool with land training and an education session and as well as the coaching team, Scottish Internationalist Tain Bruce will be there to help and inspire them.
They will be assessed over both training days with coaches looking for behaviours which demonstrate that the swimmers possess a growth mindset and are fully engaged with the training. Those who demonstrate these traits will be invited back for a further day in December and from this final group, several swimmers will be selected to attend stroke camps.
